It is the Favourite Holiday destination of Young People, Rishikesh (also called Rishikesh) is known for its adventurous activities, ancient temples, famous cafes and the “Capital Capital of the World”. Garhwal, the gateway to the Himalayas, Rishikesh is also a place of pilgrimage and one of the holiest places for Hindus.

Today, the place is popularly known as the Beatles’ Ashram, which attracts tourists from all over the world. Because it is a religious city, non-vegetarian food and alcohol are strictly forbidden. Rishikesh sees the most beautiful evening arti on the banks of the river Ganga, which is not very crowded in Varanasi and Haridwar unlike its contemporaries. An international yoga festival is held here in the first week of March which brings together yoga lovers from all over the world.

Located on the west coast, Goa is the smallest state in India and, unlike any other, is known for its endless beaches, magnificent nightlife, superb seafood, and World Heritage-listed architecture. Covering an area of only 3,702 km, Goa is located in the Konkan region. It is a long way from hippie haven or beach tourism, and is just one of the few floors open 24×7. Goa’s leisure (Susegad) attracts as many international tourists as it does Indians, or more.
The people of Goa are very friendly towards tourists and celebrate many festivals throughout the year, the most famous being New Year and Goa Carnival. While the seafood is great, Goa has some of the best nightlife in India, with trendy bars, beach shakes, great cafes and lots of clubs and discos. Thanks to the low alcohol prices in the state, Goa is also great for relatively tight-pocketed young tourists.
For those of us who are always confused between North Goa and South Goa, this can help – the state of Goa is divided into North Goa and South Goa. While North Goa is a nightlife hub where all the tourist beaches, flea markets and beach shacks are located, South Goa is a land of luxurious resorts and cozy beach vibes.
Being a Portuguese territory for almost 450 years, Portuguese architecture is nowhere near as popular as in Goa – visit one of the many whitewashed churches, crumbling forts or magnificent churches. Yellow houses with purple doors, gagger colored palaces and oyster shell windows complete the kaleidoscope of Goa’s architecture.

Nestled in the middle of the Nilgiris, Ooty, also known as Udagamandalam, is a hill station in Tamil Nadu that serves as a top tourist holiday destination. Once known as the summer headquarters of the East India Company, the Queen of the Hills is a beautiful journey.
Dotted with tea gardens, tranquil waterfalls, winding country lanes and captivating colonial architecture, Ooty is a perfect haven for everyone. Popular among couples and honeymooners, Ooty attracts visitors with its spectacular views of the Nilgiri Mountains.
The Nilgiri Mountain Railway is the highest track in all of Asia. Remember the hit song ‘Chaiya Chaiya’ where Shah Rukh Khan and Malaika Arora have matching steps at the top of the train? Remember the wonderful places as the train crossed its path across the lush greenery? Yes, it was the Nilgiri Mountain Railway, as well as the Nilgiri Mountains.
Alleppey, Kerala4.0 /5, Rate, kerala India, 10 out of 53 Places to visit in Kerala
Aleppo is like a stereotype to travel to Kerala. You go to a tour company in Kerala or read a travel blog, and they will recommend Aleppo. Therefore, Alleppey also gets a place in our list of top 10 vacation destinations in India.
The experience of renting a houseboat and navigating the interconnected lakes, canals and lakes – while enjoying the dazzling range of flora and fauna, and local life – is a lifelong experience. You can’t compare Alpi with other places to visit in India. There is no Goa or Thailand as wonderful as the houseboat experience in the Aleppo backwaters.
For the Excellent experience, book this backwater kayaking tour. Also, check out this video I made during my recent All India Delhi to Bangalore road trip (before I continue to Kerala). This video is about my Aleppo ride from Kochi which includes many drone shots of Aleppo.
Majuli Island Assam

Although a well-known Holiday destination in Assam, Majuli Island is still quite difficult. And that is why it has always been one of the best places for me to travel in India.
By definition, Majuli Island is the largest river island in the world mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records (although there are claims that it may disappear due to continuous soil erosion). It is located on the river Brahmaputra and covers an area of 352 sq km – about half the size of Bangalore. To reach Majuli Island, you take a bus / taxi / train to Jorhat and take a half hour boat ride.
I first visited Majuli Island, in 2015, before I started blogging. And since then, I’ve been there three times. The people of Majuli are so friendly that I have made some lifelong friends there. In addition to Assamese, you will find tribal Michigan people who are believed to have migrated from Southeast Asian countries such as Laos and Cambodia.
Majuli Island is one of the leading Holiday destination in India where you can relax, unwind and relax. Find a bamboo hut, rent a bicycle and let things happen on their own.

Mumbai, the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra, is a wonderful contrast between chaos and hope, glamor and clutter, modernity and tradition. Known as the city of dreams, Mumbai – formerly known as Bombay – is a beautiful blend of Mumbai cultures and lifestyles.

One of the most famous hill stations in Himachal Pradesh, Manali offers the most spectacular views of Pir Panjal and the snow-capped Dhauladhar ranges for most of the year.
Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, Manali has become a popular holiday destination for young people looking for a long stay to work. With ambient cafes, good WiFi availability, small food and beverage outlets and convenience stores, Old Manali is one of the favorite areas for such people. There are many homestays and hostels that offer cheap dorm beds for a long time.
There are many trekking options around Manali, which makes it a great base for exploring this side of the Himalayas. River Beas offers great rafting options in the nearby town of Kullu. Adjacent to the river Parvati, along with Kasol, Manikaran, Tosh and small villages, is the Parvati valley which attracts travelers for long stays. The Atal tunnel now allows passengers to reach Sisu within a few hours, making Spiti more accessible.
The months of January and February get the most snow in December and March. If you are very lucky, you may get some snow in April.
Tourists flock to Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley for various adventurous activities including skiing, paragliding, horse riding and zorbing. The Rohtang Pass is almost always covered with snow and can often see congestion and traffic jams.
